On The Air: Game|Life Podcast: Massively Multiplayer Games Become Less Massive

It hasn't been a great week for headlines about massively multiplayer online games.

Activision Blizzard mentioned that subscriptions had forsaken off nonetheless again, from 10.2 million in May to 9.1 million as of Aug 2. Electronic Arts mentioned that subscriptions for had forsaken next a million, and that it would deliver a free-to-play choice in the hopes of attracting more users. Square Enix had a lot to say about its flailing , observant that it had 300 people in-house working on the reboot of the diversion that is set to tumble after that this year.
