US Court Rules Samsung Copied From Apple; Samsung Not Pleased

The jury in a San Jose, California justice has ruled that Samsung stole designs from Apple in building its smartphones and P.C. tablets. As a result, the justice has systematic the South Korean firm to pay Apple $1.05 billion in damages.

Predictably, Samsung was not gratified with the preference and skeleton to record for an appeal, even accusing the Cupertino-based company of using US obvious laws in its endeavor to browbeat the smartphone market.

In a statement, Samsung mentioned that it was "unfortunate that obvious law may be manipulated to give a company a corner over rectangles with spherical corners". Meanwhile, Apple applauded the decision, even praising the justice for "for anticipating Samsung's poise determined and for sending a deafening and coherent summary that hidden isn't right".

The nine-person jury deliberated for reduction than 3 days before forthcoming up with a unanimous decision, rejecting all of Samsung's claims and support 5 of Apple's claims.

The statute comes after a justice in South Korea ruled that both firms had copied any other's patents , whilst a British justice discharged Apple's claims that Samsung had infringed its patents.

Apple has moreover filed for an claim to inhibit Samsung products deemed infringing in the United States at a follow-up conference on September 20th.
