An Element Technica Neutron 3-D rig, mounted with Silicon Imaging SI-2K cameras, can right away be included in a mailing in a new purpose-built Neutron BORG 3-D underwater housing network from HydroFlex . The underwater 3-D camera network moreover features a Cinedeck tape deck inside the housing.

The Neutron 3-D supply is preferred for use underwater since its tiny form factor. The Neutron supply and Silicon Imaging SI-2K cameras fit in HydroFlex's anodized-aluminum, cube-shaped housing that measures 15in x 17in x 16in.

By enclosing the Element Technica Neutron supply in a beam-splitter configuration, the network can give stereoscopic imaging from only in front of the camera observation dock to objects far away. The Neutron BORG network leverages Element Technica's integrated lens manage and Zeiss 16mm cine lenses, that underline f/1.3 apertures and shut focusing capabilities. The network moreover accepts Schneider 4.8mm, 8mm and 12mm, and Linos 12mm, 16mm and 25mm C-mount lenses.

Weighing 114lbs out of the water, and 3lbs underwater, the Neutron BORG network may be configured as a free-swimming, untethered housing with user observation on the Cinedeck, with full lens and stereographic manage underwater. Alternatively, video and full remote manage of the rig's focus, iris and stereoscopic properties may be cabled to the aspect and operated from there.

The HydroFlex Neutron BORG housing is written to sojourn watertight to a height of 60ft and incorporates watertight connectors for lens concentration and iris, interaxial and convergence. When using the Cinedeck for inner recording, the SD video may be run to the aspect with an underwater persuade cable.

Alternatively, the Cinedeck may be bypassed to run full HD from both cameras to the aspect around underwater Ethernet cables.
