MediaCAT, a definite that has sent thousands of letters to purported unlawful file-sharers in the UK, has ceased trading, according to its law firm.
It follows the handing over of Andrew Crossley, who heads the law definite that pursued purported file-sharers on its behalf.
Mr Crossley quiescent during a justice hearing, brought against 27 purported unlawful file-sharers.
He fixed that MediaCAT had "ceased trading".
It comes days before a settlement is due on the box in a conference at London's obvious court.
During the case, Judge Birss criticised the methods used by Mr Crossley and the law definite he heads - ACS: Law.
