Call of Duty: Black Ops was the greatest video diversion of final year.
It pennyless archives on launch day in November 2010 and done 400 million in its initial week on sale.
However, scarcely 3 months after that hundreds of gamers have told Newsbeat it's still suffering from glitches.
That's notwithstanding the game's publishing house Activision having expelled a few updates, or patches, written to put together the problems that were reported in December .
Mike Hadgkiss from Aylesbury is a large air blower of the Call of Duty authorization and plays on the PS3.
"I've been thrown out of games, had games solidify on me, not been able to link up to buddies online, and those sorts of things really.
"It's only been incredibly frustrating. It's not satisfactory is it?
"People outlay their hard warranted money on a diversion and they design it to work from the really initial day, but this one evidently doesn't."
The problems inspiring Black Ops appear to have affected PC, PS3 and Xbox users.
According to the hundreds of gamers who got in hold with Newsbeat, PS3 has been worst affected by a coherent most of about 3 to one.
There's been no criticism from Sony is to PS3, or Microsoft is to Xbox 360.
However, Activision, together with the game's developers, Treyarch, have expelled a statement.
It read: "Activision and Treyarch are committed to providing the most appropriate gaming experience for our Black Ops players.
"To that end, we've worked keenly with our residents by authorized forums and amicable media to appeal feedback and actively rivet them, which you reason in to every refurbish and will go on to do so."
But Mike's not impressed.
"No diversion is going to be without its faults," he says. "But the amount of faults that this diversion had given the day of let go really isn't acceptable."
"I do not comprehend how a firm similar to that [Activision] can let go a diversion that's inadequate from the initial day."
It is tough to obtain a actual clarity of the scale of the problem.
Hundreds of gamers got in hold about problems, but Black Ops is continually played by millions of people around the world.
While those suffering from problems might be a comparatively minuscule minority, it is a poignant number.
Even worse is to firm is that Gamers' Voice, a organisation representing video diversion fans in the UK, has written to the Office of Fair Trading angry about the Personal Computer and PS3 versions of the game.
Chris O'Reegan, from the organisation, said: "The major feeling that we're getting from people is enormous restlessness and anger.
"The multiplayer chronicle of the game, which is a key selling point, doesn't function as intended."
As for Mike, he says he frequency plays Black Ops right away and has changed onto other games.
"When it initial came out I was on it every night.
"But right away I haven't really overwhelmed it over the final few months, only pieces here and there to see if the diversion has been fixed.
"In my perspective is hasn't."
