Motorola Xoom Family Edition Comes To Best Buy

Motorola is gearing to launch to sell a special book of its Xoom inscription that targets young kids and their parents. The Xoom Family Edition is identical to the initial with its Android 3.1, 10.1-inch IPS screen, dual-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, and 16GB of storage. What creates it not similar from its prototype is how Motorola downplayed a few of its hardware specs to cut back down its cost.

The Xoom Family Edition comes preloaded with $40 value of apps. Some of these apps are targetted to kids similar to SimCity Deluxe and Asphalt 6, whilst parents can manage that apps the young ones can access by Kid Zone Zoodles. Other apps add Netflix, Quickoffice Pro HD, all Google apps, a few Amazon apps, and Motorola's own app showcase portal called MotoPack.

This special book tablet, that a few tech blogs would rsther than look at it as a new-gen device, is to one side distributed by Best Buy commencement October 16. It comes with a referred to sell cost of $379.
