ViewCast has expelled an extended chronicle of its Niagara SCX streaming media administration software.
The new Niagara SCX 6.4 includes a number of modernized features, inclusive encouragement for adaptive live encoding around Microsoft Live IIS Smooth Streaming and PlayReady DRM support, updates to Akamai HD iPhone and iPad streaming, softened MPEG-4 streaming, and display and safety enhancements is to whole adaptive streaming portfolio.
Full program functionality will be existing on ViewCast's professional-grade Niagara Pro II, Niagara 7750 and Niagara 4100 streaming media systems, with upgrades existing to existing owners of ViewCast streaming systems.
At the heart of Niagara SCX 6.4 is the Adaptive Live Media Publisher component, that concurrently creates multi-part H.264 video streams that are time-aligned to encouragement smoothness in adaptive formats.
