Videogame publishing house THQ will work with book publishing house Random House to emanate initial egghead properties, the companies mentioned Monday.
Both publishers hope to emanate universes that may be stretched by transmedia storytelling , using multi-part platforms to try the same world and characters. They say they will first rise new IPs as "a gathering of games and books," then spread in to other forms of media.
