Tiny Trailer (With Bed) Trails Behind Mobility Scooters

The QTvan, from the Environmental Transport Association in the UK, is a trailer (or train in British English) that is hitched at the back a mobility scooter - the type of scooter used by aged folks to speed around and scare youngsters. It is billed as "the world's smallest and greenest caravan". It is moreover expected to be nothing more than a selling stunt, but we admire it anyway.

The Environmental Transport Association, aka the ETA, is in fact a seller of van insurance. Here's the selling blurb, sheltered as a cite from an eccentric expert:

Spokesman is to ETA, Yannick Read, said: "An stepping up number of people rest on mobility scooters, but if you rise a mistake or run out of battery power and do not have relapse casing " or a minuscule train in draw " your usually options are to pull something that weighs the homogeneous of two group all the way home or call on a relations with a considerable car."

Still, the thought is great, and there is at least a of them in existence. The QTvan measures just 2m x 75cm (6.56 x 2.46 feet), and is thus big sufficient to grip a full-sized bed. The presumably 5,500 ($9,090) trailer moreover packs a 16-inch TV, a radio, a kettle (for creation tea, of course) and a drinks cabinet. It obviously looks flattering cosy inside there.

The limit speed is 5mph, and it may be run from battery power or 240v mains electricity. There's even a TV receiver on the roof.

I'd be heedful of obviously napping in this, though. The robbery teenagers that drunkenly petiole the night streets of Britain are a terrifying bunch, and if those hooligans came opposite this small electrical snail then I'm certain they'd tip it over as rapidly as they'd tip a napping cow.
