Iran 'uncovers Spying Virus'

Officials in Iran say they have found a P.C. pathogen written to aim the country's supervision institutions.

The rouge program - dubbed Stars - was able of inflicting teenager damage, according to the head of Iran's polite counterclaim organisation.

If the reports are accurate, it would be the second leading assault in a year.

The not long ago detected Stuxnet worm is considered to have been combined to take manage of apparatus used in Iran's chief programme.

"The Stars pathogen has been presented to the laboratory but is still being investigated," he said.

Mr Jalali suggested that the pathogen could have been "mistaken for senior manager files of bureaucratic organisations", but gave no denote about who might be at the back the attack.

Last week, the same authorized suggested that Stuxnet was the work of the United States and warned that it could have caused large-scale accidents and loss of life.

Stuxnet initial came to light in July 2010. Analysis by safety firm Symantec showed that, whilst it could be transmitted around the internet, it was written to taint specific variety of industrial controllers.

The machinery in subject was used to manage centrifuges at Iran's Natanz uranium improvement facility.
