Robogames 2011: Flame Throwers, Rocket Launchers And Endless Robot Mayhem

Walking in to the arena, the initial thing you observe are the noises: booming, clanging, the sound of steel crashing on steel a partial stretch away. Followed by the scent of abandon and on fire rubber.

Welcome to Robogames.

Robogames is an annual robotics contest that features more than 50 not similar events , inclusive combat, sumo, hockey and mech warfare. Dubbed "the Olympics of robots," this year's eventuality took place April 15 to 17 in San Mateo, California, with a multicolored form of robots in attendance.
