While other automobile companies are claiming their vehicles are environment-friendly, product designers Kenneth Cobonpue and Albrecht Birkner took it a step serve by creation the world's initial roadster done from bamboo and rattan.
The Phoenix process automobile was built often by biodegradable materials in a camber of 10 days. Its role is to make vehicles "green enough" once it has outlived its purpose.
"This plan attempts to betray the future of immature vehicles using woven skins from natural fibers corresponding to combination materials and powered by immature technology," Cobonpue settled during an talk with Inhabitat.
Because the Phoenix's skin is biodegradable, the van will not emanate not essential waste products if the owners no longer needs it. The fibers can moreover be transposed low if the owners wants to expostulate it for a couple of more years. The designers guess that the automobile would final up to 5 years in industrialized countries and up to 20 years elsewhere.
It is not precisely coherent what engine would power the Phoenix immature car, but it looks similar to it will take the all-electric route.
