Some time ago [ ant.b ] from the Arduino Forum succeed to reflash the Atmega8u with other LUFA Firmwares . [Dimitri Diakopoulos] has not long ago created a identical draw close for his HIDUINO project. Very great reason references. Diakopoulos succeded to make Arduino uncover up as a MIDI Device:
LUFA powers the HIDUINO plan in that it handles many of the low-level USB-HID doing whilst exposing an API for building other HID-compliant gadgets similar to MIDI.
The USB-HID selection has a definite sort for MIDI submit and MIDI output, that scarcely all blurb low-pitched controllers on the marketplace use for class-compliant (driverless!) MIDI I/O.
Check out guide for ISP flashing , on the plan page hosted on googleCode .
