WISP: A WiFi Procedure Is To Internet-of-Things

embdSocial is an Internet-of-Things (IoT) stage serviceable to give information encouragement to chic objects and devices. embdSocial is formed on WISP , an electronic procedure that may be related to any microcontroller-equipped device (such as an Arduino board, by means of ad-hoc shield) to take advantage of a few information services:

Each WISP allows real-time bi-directional information by the secure, globally available API. In add-on to merely providing internet connectivity, embdSocial provides one interface and design that simplifies familiar tasks by the use of plug-ins:

Tweeting/receiving @messages

Updating Facebook statuses

Sending/receiving emails

Sending/receiving SMS content messages

Manipulating files in your Dropbox

Each WISP is versed with a 802.11 network interface (with encouragement to WEP, WPA and WPA2 protocols) that allows the device to be simply related with the embdSocial's servers; moreover, its setup is entirely web-based.

More information may be found on the embdSocialhomepage , together with a couple of videos presenting its capabilities.
