Digital placement of audio has a few without doubt advantages, many clearly the fact that this way dramatically reduces line requirements.
A number of companies have entered the field, but, to date, nothing has determined dominance. In an endeavor to spread its product line, Shure Incorporated not long ago voiced that it has reached a chartering consent with Audinate, Inc., the producer of the Dante audio networking technology.
Shure will confederate Dante's technology in to their ULXD4D Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver and ULXD4QQ Quad-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver. These products, both a segment of Shure's new ULX-D wireless line, are being launched at Infocomm 2012. More data on this line may be found at the Shure website .
