Retro Pinball Clock Hack

[ Alan Amon ] posted a cold selected penetrate on Instructables , adding GPS-based timepiece funcionalities to a Bally Wizard pinball.

Pinball appurtenance will automatically power up at the preset time any day and then resets to manifestation the stream time, the year, the time the warning is set for and the date month/day. Then as long as the GPS has a vigilance the time will refurbish once a notation is to rest of the day. At the time you would similar to to go to bed the Arduino will cut power to the diversion and it will sojourn off until the warning time. Should you have a power disaster in the night the appurtenance will not remove it's settings. If power is easy previous to the warning time the appurtenance will arise up as normal, instead the appurtenance will arise up once power is restored.

If the diversion is powered on since it is not nonetheless bed time and it is after the warning time then at 12am, 1am or 1pm the diversion will do a full reset. This creates certain the timepiece hasn't gotten off due to a stranded measure reel, keeps the time in a 12 hour format and keeps the date manifestation up to date.
