Avail-TVN has been selected by Cable Wireless Communications (CWC) to supply the AnyView multiplatform video service for its Caribbean subsidiary, LIME.
The service will launch commercially in Jamaica and Barbados in the fourth entertain of 2011, with enlargement opposite the Caribbean to follow in 2012. LIME is the initial CWC auxiliary that will launch multiplatform video services with Avail-TVN.
Using adaptive bit rate (ABR) technology, Avail-TVN will supply up to 130 live SD radio channels together with video on-demand calm for LIME customers to access around set-top boxes and related devices.
Avail-TVN moreover will succeed the subscriber experience, providing the user interface and electronic module guide, and monitoring broadcasts 24/7 from the company's network operations center. The service will be delivered around LIME's in isolation broadband network.
