Mobile Photo Helps Summit Rescue

A couple stranded on a 3,000ft (914m) Snowdonia summit were discovered after sending a print of their place by mobile phone.

The Ogwen Valley hill rescue group recognized it as the north small ravine of Tryfan and forsaken a cord to them.

Team orator Chris Lloyd said: "Sending us a picture seems to be a really essential and utilitarian thought to give us an denote of their position."

Meanwhile a hill biker was flown to sanatorium after a collision in Gwynedd.

He was winched aboard a Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley, Anglesey, and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd at Bangor.

His injuries were not major after the situation in the Coed y Brenin forest.
