Thomson Broadcast has voiced that Indosiar, a of Indonesia's heading broadcasters, has systematic 6 of its Inductive Output Tube (IOT) high-power delivery systems for its national radio network. These reinstate Indosiar's existing Thomson transmitters after 17 years of successive operation, and will be deployed in Bandung, Makassar, Denpasar, Medan, Semarang and Yogyakarta during 2011 and 2012.
Established in 1994, Jakarta-based Indosiar is existing as a free-to-air or subscription duct via Malaysia and in other Asia-Pacific countries inclusive Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.
Thomson is provision normal IOT amplifiers formed on the DCX Millennium series. The 80kW transmitters for Indosiar will run in familiar mode analog PAL B/G using Thomson's Siriana analog exciters with digital vigilance estimate (DSP).
