It has been suggested to the media that Motorola Mobility asked Apple to pick up 2.25% of sales from a few iPhones and iPads final year, that could act for billions of dollars value of chartering fees. The request, that was filed in a California justice final month, shows that Motorola (with its imminent merger by Google) demanded the kingship for permit of its patents it claims Apple has infringed.
Expert estimates theory that a kingship of Apple's iPhone sales would amount to over $1 billion in 2011. The justice letter, however, does not mention that gadgets would be enclosed in the treat nor either it would be retroactive.
We all know by right away how patents have been a large treat amid tech companies, with any firm accusing others of infringement. Analysts say that Motorola is many expected asking for an amount so outrageous that Apple would refuse, that would hasty The M to sue the iCompany for assorted injunctions or force a settlement.
Both Apple and Motorola reject to comment.
