I once paid for a palm tag for my SLR. It was done by Hama, and it was a of the worst pieces of junk we have ever used. The Handy Dandy Hand Strap, on the other palm (ahem) looks to be about a thousand times better. And even if it isn't, it certain looks good.
A palm tag is a great way to keep your camera secure when you're carrying it - possibly from lane thieves or only your own crude inclination to tumble things. It moreover lets you bring a camera without murdering your fingers - the camera can hook rather when not in use.
Photojojo's new tag is leather, and attaches in two spots. Up top, it loops by your camera's real tag eyelet, and underneath it has its own aluminum image that screws in to the tripod hole. Inside the tanned hide ius a pillow for comfort, and the straps may be gotten in "sage green" or the rather nasty sounding but great seeking "camel brown."
The Handy Dandy Hand Strap will cost you $40, and is existing now.
