Viditech, segment of The Facility House Broadcast Partners, a retailer of outward announce (OB) services in the Netherlands, has turn the initial patron of the Grass Valley Trinix Multiviewer. A Trinix NXT router incorporating the multiviewer will be commissioned in Viditech's new OBV5 truck, that is due to be functional this month.
Launched progressing this year, and segment of Grass Valley's family of Trinix NXT multiformat digital routing switchers, the multiviewer is entirely integrated in to the router and so eliminates the need for extra cabling and other hardware. It supports infrastructures up to 3 Gbs whilst providing up to 8 SDI multiviewer guard outputs per card - inclusive the aptitude to guard audio for any source.
Currently being built by Dutch network integrator DMS, the new OB lorry will be built around 12 Grass Valley LDK 8000 cameras, together with a Kayak HD video switcher.
