Verizon will be gift its ultimate touchscreen BlackBerry handset inside of this week! The BlackBerry Touch 9850 will be existing in Verizon Wireless' online store on September 8, whilst it will strike retails stores on the 15th.
The smartphone features a 1.2GHz processor, a 3.7-inch touchscreen, BlackBerry 7 OS, a "Global Ready" quad-band mobile radio, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, 720p HD video recording capabilities, pre-installed 16GB microSD card (expandable to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth. It moreover has high-performing Liquid Graphics technology, the ultimate BlackBerry Mesenger, and next-gen BlackBerry browser with optimizing zooming, panning, and HTML 5 powers.
Verizon will be selling the Touch 9850 at $200 with two-year contract. That is $50 more than what Sprint is offering, but $50 reduction than Verizon's own BlackBerry Bold 9930. Either way, the cost differences would not matter since the phone caters to people who sojourn constant to BlackBerry.
