Motorola Photon WiMax Smartphone Comes To Sprint

Sprint comes out with its ultimate Android-powered smartphone: The Motorola Photon, that will start its sell rounds on July 31.

The Sprint Photon features a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 4.3-inch HD manifestation with 960 x 540 resolution, Android 2.3, 8-megapixel back-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 16GB onboard memory, a 32GB microSD card slot, and a kickstand only to make it fancy. Aside from the standard Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, this smartphone is deliberate as Sprint's initial "global" WiMax phone. It runs on Sprint's 3G and WiMax in the US, but it moreover functions on general GSM standards.
