"I've overtly attempted to do this many, many times," he mentioned of concepts for a Colbert-themed game. "One of the ideas you had for Colbert was you longed for to do 'Colbert Quest,' that was kinda similar to an loyalty to the Police Quest or Space Quest games." Apparently his group at 345 even went as far as to put together a "design treatment" for "Colbert Quest," that he minute by saying, "You're arrange of in this world that's humor-based, that's type of situational and quest-based, and it would have Colbert as a few arrange of overlord of this domain."
Unfortunately, "Colbert Quest" usually done it so far before it was shot down by Comedy Central higher-ups. But whilst that definite process might be out, Virasinghe isn't giving up so simply on a Colbert game. "He does have this other character, Tek Jansen, that would unequivocally make sense. There's so sufficient things you could do with Tek -- if I got my hands on Tek, I'd have a ball."
Of course, all of this is contingent on how good 345 Games does with its stream project, a diversion adjustment of monster-themed sitcom "Ugly Americans" set to launch after that this summer. "Hopefully this diversion does well, it creates a few respirating room for us to regard a small bigger, and may be even capture the Colberts in to wanting to do something," Virasinghe explained.
So, what about it Stephen? You're on notice!
