This is what McIntosh President Charlie Randall had to say about the MCD1100: "In developing McIntosh source components, the designers and engineers have always strived to broach all the romantic calm in available music. For the initial time, you right away offer greatest McIntosh opening for not usually a condensed front library, but any other digital stereo source as well. In today’s digital song universe, the modernized digital decoding allows sources such as streaming music, song servers, Internet air wave and others, to be processed, controlled, and improved. (Author's tangent: It's funny, so many companies are perplexing to put together song that has been nude of its original fealty when encoded for digital distribution, but every audiophile I verbalise with say these techniques are normally rubbish.  That whatever vegetable patch fixes are tacked onto these files can never entirely reinstate omitted data.  Esteemed AVRev readers, what do you think?  I suspect if any person could do it, McIntosh could, but we'll have to attend with the own ears before desiring this.)

Okay, back to the MCD1100… Cosmetically, any person will agree to this section as "quintessentially McIntosh."  There is a new 3D written potion front panel, soothing backlighting, and a gloss immaculate steel chassis.
