NaturalPoint's OptiTrack division, formed in Corvallis, OR, has expelled a high-performance motion-capture camera, the S250e, that provides speed and accuracy in a condensed form factor. Housed in a condensed aluminum and soft-touch polycarbonate case, the S250e offers 250fps picture capture, SVGA resolution, expanded margin of view, onboard picture processing, software-controlled IR filter switching and a operation of modernized M12 lenses.
First demonstrated at this year's SIGGRAPH 2010 conference, the S250e is written to encouragement a accumulation of sports practice and review applications.
