ABOUT "GUWANGE" Guwange is a straight scrolling sharpened game, launched in Japanese arcades in 1999. Set in the Muromachi time of Japanese history, Guwange tells the story of the "Shikigami users", hosts to eerie avatars called Shikigami. Unlike other CAVE sharpened games, well known for their warrior qualification and mortal machinery, the heroes of Guwange travel opposite the wicked landscape on their query to absolved themselves of the Shikigami curse, slicing a swath by enemies.

Players select from a of 3 characters: Shishin, Kosame and Gensuke, on a tour to slay the immorality God of Mt. Gokumon, Guwange itself. Accompanying them are their Shikigami familiars: Rikiou, Yatsuhisha and Kirinmaru.
