Three Strikes 'halved NZ Piracy'

Internet robbery rates in New Zealand have halved given the foreword of the argumentative "three strikes" rule, a record attention organisation has said.

The order allows fines of up to NZ$15,000 (7,600) to be released to unlawful downloaders held 3 times.

The Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (Rianz) mentioned 2,766 transgression letters had been sent out.
