New Yahoo Team Leader Could Make $70m

Technology definite Yahoo has suggested the arrangement package it has offering to new arch senior manager Marissa Mayer could tip $70m (45m).

Ms Mayer's simple income will be $1m a year, but shares and share options, along with other prospective rewards, could make it far more lucrative.

The simple income will be theme to an annual review, and her annual reward has a aim of twice her simple salary.

The reward will be made up of shares redeemable after 3 years.

She will moreover take what the company calls a one-time influence award, that will be paid after 5 years with Yahoo.

The total were suggested in a filing with the US financial watchdog the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) .

Marissa Mayer began work at Yahoo on Tuesday this week, having jumped liner from Google.

Ms Mayer, 37, is firm's third arch senior manager in the space of a year.

In May, arch senior manager Scott Thompson stepped down after accusations that he put a counterfeit P.C. grade on his CV.

In September 2011, arch senior manager Carol Bartz was dismissed after two-and-a-half years in the post.

Yahoo has struggled in the face of increased contest from internet looking rivals inclusive Google, and the presentation of amicable giants such as Facebook.

Ms Mayer moreover now serves on the play of Wal-Mart, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco Ballet and New York City Ballet. She will moreover come together Yahoo's board.
