"Beta in the summer," Englund rapidly responded. As for how the beta will work and who will obtain in, Englund says "that's still being decided" by publishing house Paradox Interactive, and that more would be suggested later.
Another subject we had was in regards to coordinator encouragement -- Magicka on the Personal Computer is matching with Microsoft's Xbox 360 controller, and when asked if The Showdown Effect would encouragement it too, Englund told me that the beginning contrast on The Showdown Effect was completed with controllers. "The initial months of growth we obviously usually used diversion pads so, yeah, it should be in there," he told me.
The Showdown Effect is now slated to launch " when it's completed -- in 2012 ."
