NRG Sets To Install 200 EV Charging Stations In California

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. This is what appetite firm NRG appear to have adhered after settling a long-disputed lawsuit against the State of California after it acquired most interest in its partnership with Dynegy. NRG is set to setup 200 fast-charging EV stations opposite the Golden State, an investment mentioned to be value $120 million that promises to emanate much-needed jobs.

The treat is not biased all together, as these chargers will be running on NRG's fee-based eVgo network.

California Governor Jerry calls the agreement the beginning of a "virtuous circle" that will speed up sales of electric vehicles in the state, that in spin will irritate investors to spread the state's charging infrastructure that will sell more electric cars.

The commissioner moreover hopes that this outline will lead to a smog-free California by 2050.
