2012 will be the year of mobile DTV. That's the perspective of Erik Moreno, who along with Salil Dalvi, comparison VP for Mobile Platform Development at NBC Universal, is co-general executive of the Mobile Content Venture.
Moreno, who is comparison VP, Corporate Development, is to Fox Networks Group, is in Las Vegas at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show. He's there touting two recent, leading accomplishments that may, in fact, make his predict for 2012 a reality.
Last week, the Mobile Content Venture voiced that MetroPCS, the fifth largest wireless provider in the nation, would start gift after that this year a Samsung smartphone versed with the Dyle consumer interface and a mobile DTV receiver.
Then, on the night before of the show, MCV voiced a conspiring with a aware consumer wiring company, Belkin, to bring additions to markets to let the owners of existing wireless devices, similar to iPads and iPhones, to start reception mobile DTV. At CES, MCV and Belkin are display a such prototype.
