Google Unveils 'instant' Searches

Google has sped up its internet hunting engine by rising a product called Instant that displays results as shortly as users sort in queries.

The service predicts a user's question and modifies the displayed results as more letters are typed in to the hunting box.

The firm described it as "search at the speed of thought".

Previously Google's referred to hunting conditions and did not exhibit results until the "enter" key was strike or the "search" symbol was clicked.

Google Instant goes live in the next week and on mobile gadgets by autumn.

The service will primarily be rolled out in the US, UK, Spain, Germany, France and Russia.

In a demo eventuality hold at San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art, Marissa Mayer, Google's vice-president of hunting products and user experience, typed in "sfm" in to the hunting box to denote the new service.

As she typed, results appeared now for "SF MOMA" - the initial likely hunting result.

In other demo, when the e-mail "w" was entered, a list of links gift the "weather" appeared along with images display the temperature.
