Software developer Sonnox ( www.sonnox.com ) has created full bidirectional compatibility of its Oxford plug-ins with Avid's new Pro ToolsHDX network - launched at the new AES Show in New York City. The plug-ins, that upgrade network opening and enable song producers to do their work more effectively, are formed on the new Avid Audio eXtension (AAX) modernized plug-in format.
To encounter the expected demand, the firm mentioned it has doubled the size of its growth group to total the passing from one to another to AAX as shortly as possible.
The Oxford EQ and Oxford Inflator are the initial in a line of AAX plug-ins from Sonnox that will be existing when Pro ToolsHDX ships after that this year.
Earlier this year, Sonnox introduced the Fraunhofer Pro-Codec (developed in conspiring with the Fraunhofer Institute), that provides real-time auditioning of audio codecs inside of a digital audio prolongation environment.
