Robotic dogs such as the Sony AIBO were discharged as costly toys that are defective to the actual thing. No consternation it was dropped in 2006. Despite the notion, a few Japanese companies are gritty to rise identical robots. One such company, Tokyo-base NSK, only denounced a yet-nameless drudge dog. But instead of behaving kawaii, this NSK drudge is written as seeing-eye dogs for blind people.
The plan has been a work in growth given it was instituted in 2005. Its ultimate model is able to travel at 3.8 kilometers per hour, actually slower compared to actual guide dogs, but they are getting there.
The drudge dog has 4 joints in any leg and is versed with cameras and sensors to help their its chief travel around. NSK even has skeleton of installing the drudge with GPS, web-connected maps, and other specs that would make it a viable substitute to actual dogs in the nearby future.
