Z/IP ONE , the new IP codec from Telos, is apropos the ultimate add-on to broadcasters' "must have" list: over 100 Z/IP ONE codecs have been shipped to customers in only two months. Z/IP ONE is Telos' ultimate add-on to the Zephyr line of IP and ISDN codecs, make-up multi-part modernized broadcast-quality coding algorithms and Telos' disdainful ACT routines in to an affordable 1RU package.
"They've been shipping as swift as you can make them," Telos selling executive Clark Novak said. "Hong Kong, Germany, Japan, Australia, India, Spain, France, you name it - and of march to stations all over the USA. Our customers are revelation us that Z/IP ONE's features, audio high quality and easy setup are the best combination."
Radio loves Z/IP ONE's capability to remove excellent, broadcast-quality remote audio from indeterminate open Internet connections, with unusually washed and coherent sound, interjection to Telos ACT (short for Agile Connection Technology). When the network connection is good, Z/IP provides the lowest probable check and the top probable fidelity. If bandwidth decreases or latency rises, ACT automatically lowers bit rate and increases aegis length to make sure the best probable audio with the smallest delay.
Z/IP ONE comes with a outrageous selection of high-performance codecs - the largest in the industry: AAC-ELD, AAC-HE, AACLD, MPEG Layer 2, MPEG 4 AAC LC, MPEG 2 AAC LC, G.711, G.722 and in a line PCM, together with SIP protocol encouragement for VoIP devices. There is moreover an RS-232 duct and an 8-bit parallel dock for signaling and meeting closures, and identical tiwn LAN ports for streaming and control.
Z/IP ONE's tiny size is preferred for remote kits; its wireless connection capabilities enable joining to IP networks around Wi-Fi, EVDO, and UMTS, and a Telos-tested Wi-Fi hang is enclosed with every unit. Telos' giveaway Z/IP Server service helps span firewalls and NATs, and provides easy "buddy list" connectors to other Z/IPs.
Z/IP ONE will be on manifestation at IBC 2011, Sept. 9-13 at the RAI Center, Amsterdam, Hall 8, Stand D29.
