Imaginary Drums That Make Actual Sounds

Just when you think the drum set on Rock Band is an air drummer's mental condition advance true, wait for until you see how Maayan Migdal plays his supposed drums.

With the help of a MIDI device and Arduino, Migdal has able to supply a span of sticks and pedals that obviously make drum sounds. He done drum sticks out of a a few grassed area rakes, whilst used sandals for feet pedals. Each segment is trustworthy with accelerometers, sensors, and USB ports. The left hang creates the sound of a hi-hat, whilst the correct hang has two well-defined modules is to catch drum and collision cymbal. Meanwhile, the left feet pedal takes caring of the drum drum, and the correct feet desk pad simulates the hi-hat pedal.

Sprinkle it with geek dirt and voila! The future of air pitter-patter is born! Check out the video posted at Hack A Day.
