Israeli Parents Declared Newborn 'Like'

An Israeli couple have declared their newborn daughter Like, receiving motivation from the Facebook amicable networking site, Israeli media say.

Lior Adler and his spouse Vardit mentioned they were seeking for a name that was "modern and innovative".

Facebook allows users to "like" their friends' statuses, cinema and posts.

Like Adler's parent mentioned newness was a key reason in the selection and mentioned he had checked nobody else in Israel had the same name.

"In our viewpoint it's the modern homogeneous of the name Ahava [Love]," he said, according to Israeli journal Maariv.

"It's only my way of adage to my wonderful daughter, 'Love'."

According to the Haaretz newspaper, the many renouned names for girls in Israel now are Noa, Maya and Tamar.

Like, however, will not be alone inside of her family with her out of the ordinary name.

Both parents suffer in progress and declared a of their daughters Pie - using the English word is to name - and Dvash, Hebrew for Honey, according to Maariv.

Like's parent mentioned that when he voiced her attainment on Facebook she was really popular.

"When we posted her photo and name on Facebook we got 40 'likes'," he told the newspaper.
