HipstaCase Wraps IPhone In Retro-Tastic Coating

This is the iPhone box you have been seeking for. It is the authorized Hipstamatic case, and it is called, of course, the HipstaCase.

Hipstamatic is an iPhone app that turns your primitive digital shots in to something imitative the results from a kids' fondle cosmetic camera from the 1970s. Low contrast, shade casts and light leaks are its principal "features", and you admire them. Now you can total the look and make your iPhone as retro on the outward as it is on the inside.

The one-piece snap-on box creates your phone (or iPod Touch - there are two versions) look similar to a retro camera, but it moreover has a few extras, or "swankeries." First is the wrist lanyard, that is enclosed in the kit. Second is a tripod mount. This is an additional joint that slides in to the bottom of the "lens" and lets you screw it to a tripod bush.

It isn't cheap, at $40, but I regard the Gadget Lab organisation has at last found the best birthday present is to preposterously large Wired.com photographer Jon Snyder. This is a human so dependant to Instagram (the extraordinary iPhone Lomo-Twitter app) that the app's symbol sits alone on his iPhone's homepage. Happy Birthday, Jon! (whenever it is).
