Apple has expelled a program refurbish to put together a glitch that saw iPhones and iPads discreetly record owners' movements.
The complaint came to light when safety researchers found a dark record on the gadgets containing a record of everywhere they had been.
Used with established software, the record could produce a chart of all a person's movements with the phone.
Apple denied that it has used the data to follow user place and blamed a bug in the software.
The update, that is existing by the iTunes store, cuts the amount of stored data to only a week and no longer transfers it to the owner's P.C. when the phone is connected.

The storage of the data was brought to light in a blog post from researchers Alasdair Allan and Peter Warden.
