Comcast Unveils Xfinity TV App For Android

Comcast has expelled its Xfinity TV app for Android devices. This comes after the app became existing is to iPad and iPhone. The app features simple functions such as remote determining line boxes, browsing TV listings according to area, scheduling DVR recordings, filtering calm according to not similar TV aspects, and probing the video-on-demand library.

Other features similar to video streaming to the app and tuning to VOD on TV will be updated eventually, that happened when the app was expelled on iOS.

The Xfinity TV app now functions on smartphones running on Android 2.1 and 2.2, solely for ATT HTC Aria . Although Comcast claims it might work on tablets too, the authorized encouragement is not ready as of this posting.

Note that the app requires possibly a WiFi or 3G connection, a Comcast ID, and a matching set-top box for TV and DVR control.
