Clever Insert Turns Any Bag Into A Camera Bag

Remember the Gadget Lab handcrafted secrecy camera bag? It was an old, bad-looking armed forces excess board bag with stuffing updated inside to make it both camera-friendly and thief-unfriendly. Well, if the Any Bag Camera Bag Insert had existed back then, we might never have done it.

The insert is a small, strap-free bag that "turns every bag you own in to a camera bag." The minimal bag has a alluring snap-closed flap, 5 tiny pockets around the edges and a moveable velcro divider. And that's it. You put this inside any other bag you have and it creates a little protected breakwater for your camera gear.

The bag is 10.5 x 7 x 4 inches - large sufficient for an SLR with a long lens, or an whole Micro Four Thirds pack - and is done from waterproof waxed canvas. And when we mentioned it was strap-free, we told a little lie. It has a few tiny tanned hide straps so you can squeeze it and lift it out of your rucksack, transport carry-on or courier bag.

How much for this versatile little sack? $59, and it's existing now.
