Angry Birds and Facebook were amid the winners at Monday night's (11 April) Appy Awards in London.
More than 30,000 people voted for 50 apps nominated opposite 10 categories.
The large leader on the night was Angry Birds that composed most appropriate diversion app and the principal endowment for most appropriate app of the year.
Facebook won most appropriate time waster app and Spotify landed the most appropriate song app, whilst Google Maps won most appropriate time miser at the event.

She said: "It's been only amazing.
"First of all winning the open opinion for most appropriate diversion and then thereafter the judges motionless for us to be app of the year.
"It's been a great year for us."
Growing business
Apps are large business, with 350,000 on special discount from Apple, 200,000 for Google's Android working system, 65,000 from Nokia and 11,000 for Windows.
More than 10 billion apps have been downloaded from the Apple App store in 18 months, with the technology hulk profitable out 1.2bn to developers.
It's total similar to the that indicate the app business is expected to go on growing.
Ben Wood, mobile phone attention researcher from CCS, agrees: "I regard the app business has still got lots of expansion in it.
"Obviously Apple are kings of the mountain but there are lots of other phones where people still wish apps.
"So the opportunities are only paltry by your imagination, if you've got a great thought you can make an app and obtain it out to people."
No app other than Angry Birds won more than a endowment but Claudine Beaumont from Google Maps was really cheerful with her gong.
She said: "I regard it's a flattering radiant support of the apparatus and that's what Google is all about.
"Making collection that work for users, that work for consumers, that they can use when they're out and about to obtain the data that they wish at their fingertips."
Organisers Carphone Warehouse hope the Appys will turn an annual event.
